Jasmine Rice ($0.80) -
The rice was so fragrant that it could be finished by itself. Attractive color with an hint of coconut milk. However, I would prefer white rice as it would be a better option to pair with the other dishes. .

Hee Pio Soup ($10) -
Four meatballs, four quail eggs and four fish maw. The taste of the soup is refreshing and flavorful but the meatball really failed. The sense of the porky smell just turned the soup from positive ten points to negative five points. .

Chap Chye ($8) -
Really good dish. The cabbage wasn’t too soft and soaked up all the flavors from other ingredients. Looked very simple but difficult to achieve such standard. .

Sambal Udang ($12) -
The sambal is very good. I don’t know if the spices were hand pound but it was really well balance between spicy-ness and savory-ness. They didn’t open the back of the Prawns which made the sambal flavor only stay on the surface. .

Babi Pongteh ($12) -
Another must try dish. All thanks to the one person who decided to “marry” fermented soy bean sauce and pork belly. This place executed perfectly. The pork belly remained its shape and the fermented soy bean mellowed together as one. .

Assam Pedas ($20) -
At first the gravy was rather little. But the fish head was tender and the Assam has the right balance. Sooo goood. .

Sambal okra ($8) -
Steamed okra with sambal. Self explanatory dish. But this dish costed 8 dollars??

Overall experience. The timing and order of the dish was executed accurately. From 7pm to 9pm, they offered happy hour for $10 nett a pint. Service was pretty good. But the down side were their pricing and kitchen capacity.
