I have a slight dislike for basil in my soup especially in pho, but this basil-infused oil broth was scrumptious. The basil flavour is not overpowering and if anything, there’s only a fleeting hint of it in each slurp. The noodles were also perfectly al-dente. The pork belly was deliciously tender and had the right amount of fat. If you’re not a fan of meat fat, I’d suggest going for the usual pork shoulder instead.
The only down side was my over cooked ajitama 😪 But definitely one of my new favourite ramen spots besides Menya Mushashi at 1U!
