To be honest, I ordered this as a four layer pancake not because I was particularly hungry, but because I thought four layers looked nicer than two. I didn’t expect to be able to finish this, but I realised I was wrong when I took my first bite - these pancakes are light and fluffy, which makes them extremely more-ish and whatever the opposite of jelat is. Taste-wise, it reminds me a bit of the Original Cake but nicer. I loved the cream that came with this, and of course, the berries.

If you need a drink, you can top up $3.50 to get their original Okinawan black tea. I found the tea to have some honey notes and was naturally sweet.

Between this and the matcha azuki, I preferred this because it’s very hard to beat a classic combination done well.
