I was craving for some good ice cream and I realised that Inside Scoop has an outlet near my house. I dropped by and splurged on a double scoop on a waffle cone. I picked these two flavours for different reasons. First flavour I chose is the 'Unicorn' which is a pastel blue and pink ice cream peppered with sprinkles. I chose this because it was a really hyped flavour and because I love ice creams with interesting bright unnatural colours. Surprisingly, the blue in this ice cream comes from a completely natural dye derived from the blue pea flower! The blue ice cream is vanilla flavoured while the pink ice cream is raspberry flavoured. The second flavour is Valhorna chocolate and it is a premium flavour I had to add RM1.90 to, to enjoy. I was really craving for a rich chocolate ice cream and that's why I chose this flavour. Anyway let's go to the taste test. The Unicorn had a very balanced, enjoyable taste that wasn't artifical-tasting at all. I could taste a faint vanilla mingling with a tangy fruity raspberry flavour that was very pleasant and not cloying. The chocolate was amazing. It was very rich and full of the aroma of high quality chocolate. It went very well with the chocolate waffle cone I chose. The price is pretty hefty though as this entire ice cream is RM17.40(It's RM8.00 for a single scoop in a cup).
