This Hainanese chicken rice restaurant absolutely blew me out of the water. The rice was fragrant, the chicken was tender and flavourful, the cucumber slices were fresh, and the house green chilli provides a nice but mild kick. The braised eggplant is one of the best eggplant dishes I've ever had in my life — there were crispy bits inside along with the eggplant and minced meat, which made it the star of the show. The Thai-style tofu was great as well, though I personally wished that it was a little more silky inside. I got barley water as my drink, and it was standard. On top of everything, the prices mean that I will definitely be coming here again.
