Sideways is a small joint with a cosy, low-light ambience perfect for a midweek night out. The lamb & feta pizza ($28+) far exceeded my expectations! The dough is chewy and piquant, with a beautiful char along its edges from the wood fire. The lamb is infused with flavour after hours of slow cooking and balanced by the sharp feta. I hardly ever order lamb, but their rendition was extremely well done and I look forward to returning for their lamb cutlets!
