Famous for their Classic KL style caramelized Char Siew which is much sweeter than its Singaporean counterpart however, it is well loved by the local palates.
Now, they have 2 outlets across Singapore — Old Airport Road and Lau Pa Sat.
Char Siew ($6/$12/$18)
Satisfied with every mouthful. The meat has the right proportion of leans and fats with glistering layer of caramelised skin protecting the tender meat. The Char Siew was well seasoned and good on its own but with their special dip you get that extra flavour. Served with yummy chicken rice. ⭐⭐⭐
.
Roast Pork ($6/$12/$18)
Was cooked to perfection with crunchy skin and retained much of the meat's juiciness! Loved the crisp and flavour of the meat. ⭐⭐⭐
.
Rose Essence Soya Chicken ($7/$9/$15)
Enjoyed the sweet and savoury taste with subtle floral aroma. ⭐⭐
.
Hakka Style Noodles
Drizzled in Pork Oil, Sesame and Onion Oil, the lye-free noodles were cooked al dente. Can opt to have noodles with just plain Minced Meat or add some Roast Pork or Char Siew on top. ⭐⭐
.
Many thanks to Kai @roastparadise for the invite!
