Back to one of my favorite haunts. Bearing an old school taste, a bowl of dry meekia filled with chunky sliced pork, fish dumplings, fishcakes, tiny fishballs and luscious bits of minced pork. Noodles not overcooked but yet had that smooth chewy and slippery mouthfeel. Manned by an elderly couple. This stall is certainly a crowd pleaser as the stream of customers does not seem to stop.

Elderly Aunty slowly with fluid movements prepares bowl by bowl tirelessly. Her dry and wrinkled hands are testament, perhaps due to more than a decade or two of being in this trade. She absolutely has my respect. Some things are just timeless.
