Our first time visiting the Bukit Timah Market and the food was excellent!

Authentic penang assam laksa with prawn paste mixed in the tangy and spicy soup broth. Delicious tender soy chicken rice served with a small bowl of herbal soup. The fried carrot cake was the highlight, with a crispy outer layer and the fluffy texture mixed with caipo.

Definitely will return to try the other eateries at this market.
