This was actually quite good.

Starting off with the beef rendang. Thick gravy. Beef was tender and melty. You can taste the various spices that goes into it without an over powering coconut finish. Sambal eggplant was soft but not to the extent of being soggy. Sambal was subtlety spicy and a hint of natural sweetness. The chicken lemak bears a creamy umami aftertone. Very mild heat. Okra or ladies fingers, fibrous and to some it might be undercooked. I liked it for its chewy bite, not too slimy. Besides this contain antioxidants which help to reduce cholesterol.

Quite an enjoyable lunch but slightly heavy on the wallet. This eatery is small and tables are close to each other. So expect a tight squeeze.
