Originated from Klang, it serves the herbal, with broth and dry version. Not peppery but with the distinct aroma and taste of the various spices and a hint of garlicky finish.

Spoilt for choice, one can choose individually from standard bak kut teh, pig trotters, intestines etc. But there is a mixed one with the ribs, intestines, pig trotters all in one claypot. Besides claypots, side dishes such as braised peanuts, salted veges, tauhu etc are also available.

The taste is slightly traditional and if you are one who dont go for peppery, you might just want to give this a try.
