Bummed that their lunch set is no more; I just had Tribal Dining last Saturday and they now feature the classic ala carte menu with some refreshed offerings.

To start, you can’t go wrong with their Tribal Flatbread ($12) with abura miso and smoked honey. Pillowy soft, the freshly baked bread was lovely with the light smokey flavour from the burned blistered spots but wah the whipped Abura Miso Butter really stole the show for me. The savoury spread was simply so umami, the Smoked Honey butter I didn’t enjoy as much as it was a tad too sweet which made it kinda cloying.
