The pork cheek pasta ($23++) is hands down my favourite dish at Rookery - the pappardelle gives a good bite with its thickness, and the use of red wine in the tomato sauce gives it a delicious acidity that cuts through the starchy pasta. The pork is also incredibly well done! The bite sized pieces are tender and fall apart easily. The herbed breadcrumbs, parmesan and parsley sprinkled on top add a little dimension to the texture. A definite must-try!! ππΌπ
