My favourite go-to place near home for good Chinese / zichar is having a pretty good deal for their 8th anniversary!
A small selection of 5 items are going at $8 on Mon-Thurs till 8 Oct (any dishes for lunch; limit to 1 dish per table for dinner) and for UOB cardmembers, simply show your card for 1-for-1 for the $8 dishes (not sure when the UOB promotion ends tho).
The 1-for-1 $8 dishes we picked here are the two fish tails (steamed with sour spicy sauce/ deep fried with garlic & chilli). Of course, portion served is not as much as the full price but it’s definitely value for money! Other $8 dishes include special fried horfun in dual style (i order this very often too!), special Sakura taufoo with dried shrimp& fragrance shallots and signature salted egg fish skin with special marinated pork belly.
Also pictured - our usual picks of 3 egg spinach, fluffy yangzhou fried rice and silky smooth horfun which never disappoints 😋
