A dish that was both a hit and miss. Described as crispy, the waffles were not doubt crisp, but it feels a tad floury and airy inside without any fluff, but overall it was saved by the "secret recipe" chicken thigh which seemed to include spiciness in the marinade so you would not get enough of the juicy and crispy golden-brown fried chicken. Another savior of the dish was the maple syrup, which helped by inducing a bit of sweetness to make the waffle taste rather decent.
