This might come as a surprise that out of the three that we have tried, my favourite is actually the Barramundi Poke Bowl ($18) over the beef and vegetable options. The poke bowl is everything Singapore as the barramundi is farmed and caught in our local shores. Freshly cut into cubes, the fish is marinated in an aromatic sesame oil mixture before it joins in the party of mixed roasted vegetable, avocado dip and roasted padron peppers on a bed of greens. A poached egg is then topped in the middle as the crowning jewel with the runny yolk providing a creamy mouthfeel. This is not to say that the Steak Bowl ($20) is not any good, but the marinated barramundi literally swam away with the gold medal on this day. Nonetheless, if you are in for something meaty, you still can get perfectly grilled to medium rare ribeye steak in a bowl or prefer to go all vegetarian with the Halloumi Fever Bowl ($17) that comes with a medley of roasted vegetables from aubergine, zucchini, padron peppers and artichokes.
