Really affordable zichar from this little joint, located next to Bishan-Toa Payoh Town Council. Definitely a hidden gem for the heartlanders living around the area :)

The carbs - Moonlight Horfun ($4, Small) and Yang Zhou Fried Rice ($6, Medium) - are really affordable and also rather tasty! Hor fun could have been a little wetter, while the Fried rice was flawless. -
"Nai bai" veggie ($9, Medium) had reasonable amounts of wok hei; not as strong as I would have liked it, but it's still not bad!
-
Teriyaki Pork Ribs ($10, Small) was astonishing plentiful for a 'small' portion. The sticky teriyaki sauce was more salty than sweet, with added umami from a generous serving of fried garlic bits. Pork was tender and went well with the sauce! -
Last but not least, the dish that I spotted on @ziheng 's feed, the Salted Egg Soft Shell Crab ($12.80). Most expensive dish of the night, but still reasonable, with a generous portion. The soft shell crab was much thicker than what you'd get from casual Japanese dining joints. Love how the salted egg was fried together as a batter. Salted egg taste could be stronger.

Overall, HTW: 5 / 4.5 / 5
