First stop in Barcelona - Mercado de la Boqueria for amazing tapas at El Quim. Expect to wait a while as it is always crowded but your patience will bde rewarded with beautiful food.

La Boqueria Potatoes with Spicy Sauce(€4.5) is a revelation in how good patatas bravas can taste, and we picked every single crispy, fluffy, spicy tomato sauce and aioli covered chunk clean.

The zucchini tortilla(€4.25) was so good, I had to order seconds. Stratum of soft potato, onion and zucchini interlace the firm yet yielding and moist omelette, which was slightly sweet but still highly savoury, and to be frank, more than a little oily, which was part of what made it so good.
