To be truthful, only the Prawn Noodle was nice - full flavor & robust. I wouldn't recommend this place to true blue Penang Food enthusiasts.
Asam Laksa was using the wrong type of noodle & broth lacking in taste - no fragrance of Bunga Kantan (torch ginger), no fresh sliced onion, no pineapple detected.
Char-Kway-Teow was appalling with the Chinese sausage not fried long enough. WOK HEI was missing big time.
Wok Hei is the "essense" imparted by the wok when stir-frying over very high heat. This characteristic flavor is a chemical reaction between amino acids and reducing sugars that gives browned food its distinctive flavor.
