Finally got to try the original Ah Hoe Mee Pok in West Coast. Unlike the other branches, the original does not have any Japanese Ramen variations. However, they still employ Japanese techniques and methodologies in the preparation of the noodles. The results are a deeply flavourful and al dente noodles. The addition of seafood like fresh prawns and abalone makes it even more luxurious. However, the star in that bowl has to be the Her Kiow or fish paste dumpling. The soup was also robustly delicious, an excellent complement to the noodles!
