Edit: eatery is also known as Aki Sushi & Grill but they weren't registered on Burpple.

A little small eatery I decided to try; it surprised me with relatively fresh Sashimi, and the Teriyaki Salmon we ordered was really delicious. Portions are good, too. At that price point though it is similar to some mid-tier restaurants, and I fuss about some of their foundational things e.g. rice could be better cooked since it was borderline mushy and seasoned with vinegar. Wasabi quality could be better, as the wasabi formula is a strange consistency that dilutes into the soy sauce too quickly. Dipping sauce served with cold soba was completely tasteless.

Service is alright but certainly not the best. Service staff didn't understand English but also did not indicate so, and the sushi chef was talking loudly to his family on video call at one point while at the bar counter on loudspeaker.

Overall if you are craving some sashimi and want a quick fix, this might be a good place especially if you are dining alone, or with one other person. The eatery is small and will not be comfortable for larger parties.
