Ranking in our list of top fish soup and nestled in Maxwell Food Centre, Jin Hua serves up generous portion of Cantonese sliced fish soup and definitely embodies what it means to be value for money. We've always been a fan of sliced fish rather than fried (why fry the freshness out of a silky smooth fish, plus the oily finish means it's no longer healthy?!) The milky broth is indulgent and creamy and never fails to disappoint. The soup is especially fragrant with the addition of sesame oil. And of course have to give credit to the scrumptious thick rice noodles that carries a smooth slippery texture and absorbs the richness of the broth’s essence. Love the xiao bai cai that provides dietary fiber too!
