Herbal Bak Kut Teh ($7.50)

I have never been a fan of the herbal type of bak kut teh and always preferred my bak kut teh peppery. This newly open stall called Xiang Lai Herbal Claypot in my hood serves mainly claypot items including this bkt. The soup here is not as herbally as the traditional bkt and aside from the usual pork ribs, they also add lean meat slices, pork balls and pigs stomach. Overall, not a must try but definitely comforting if I am lazy to travel and want to have something soupy on a ⛈cold rainy day.
