A not-so-simple family dinner at the Zaffron Kitchen restaurant, which serves north and south Indian cuisine at a slightly upscale price as compared to other Indian restaurants. The Butter Naan ($4, Indian flatbread slathered with butter) and Aloo Gobi Masala ($12, spiced cauliflower and potatoes cooked in a rich creamy curry) was rather mediocre and expensive but what truly impressed me was the Butter Chicken ($16). Instead of the normal chicken pieces, chicken tikka was used, marinated with a yogurt and spice mixture and cooked in a butter flavoured gravy. This is one dish that you will keep dipping your naan into the gravy until the plate is wiped cleaned.
