A standard $3.50 bowl gets you braised pork belly, black fungus and a braised egg, pretty substantial in portion.

Here, the sauce was well balanced and flavours the rice grains underneath. Lor bak was very well cooked, tender and melts away in your mouth, while the marination was done light and enables meatiness to come through without being too porky. Black fungus and mushrooms give a crunchy and refreshing contrast to the dish. Even the dash of chilli added spiciness and tanginess to the dish. This is the kind of comfort food that keeps you coming back, his service was absolutely welcoming too:)
.
Helmed by Mr William Liou, previously GM of a restaurant group. Glad that he's keeping it humble and not charging exorbitant prices for this dish, which is honestly done exceptionally well. Keep doing hawker tradition proud!
