The "batura" ($3.50 per piece), an Indian puffed bread that's made of tapioca flour and deep fried to a huge size, was really fun to eat. Very slightly chewy with a light crispiness, I thought it went well enough with the mild "ladyfinger masala" but even better with the spicy, gingery and sourish "chicken vindaloo" ($9). With such tasty food, the place was understandably packed. Curry Gardenn is definitely worth a visit if you are in the Punggol Point area.
