[HOUGANG, SINGAPORE] If you are in the food court and fancy some no-frills nyonya dishes, I think @kokoyosg might do the job. You can choose among different proteins, and their portions are quite plentiful and at an inexpensive price as well.

Their Ayam Buah Keuak ($6.80) is a decent rendition of the iconic nyonya dish, with a flavourful savoury and nutty sauce, and tender chicken pieces. If you want something that isn't saucy, their Boneless Inch Kabin ($6.80) and Fried Pork Belly ($7.80) are good choices too, as they were tender and decently spiced.

However, I do think the flavour of their carbs like white rice, blue pea rice and indomie noodles are deliberately toned down so that it won't be too salty with all the sauces and all. This might not sit well with people who are looking for their strong coconut flavour in their rice! Kinda wished the rice was more coconut-y so that it can elevate the whole dish!

If I'm just nice in the food court and looking for a meal to have, this is an option to consider.
