Newly opened Vietnamese food shop, hidden behind Northpoint City, next to the Blk 925 coffeeshop famous for chicken rice. This humble little spot brings you yummy banh mi and pho.
Banh Mi Cha Thit ($6.50)
Baguette spread with pâté, cold cuts, pork, and chicken floss. Stuffed with carrot, cucumber, chilli padi, herbs, cilantro, and a spiritual sauce mixture. The bread had a real crispy outer with a soft, fluffy inner, leaving crumbs with each bite. The savouriness from the filling, moderate heat from the chilli, juiciness from the sauce, and crunchiness from the herbs paired nicely, thus making the whole sandwich a delicious piece.
Pho Tai Vien ($10)
Slurpy flat noodles with loads of sliced beef, beef balls, herbs, and bean sprouts in a bowl of savoury soup. Quite a huge bowl. It was okay tbh. Nothing amazing, but damn filling. Slices were big and chewy but lacked seasoning, so dipping into the provided sauce helped. Beef balls were small, easy to eat, and absorbed the soup essence well. Bean sprouts were generously given, almost a 1:1 ratio with noodles.

Iced Coffee Milk
Served in a tall glass but only filled about three-quarters, quite visually underwhelming. Likely made with G7 Instant Coffee, which they also retail. A fuller pour might dilute the taste, but the current presentation could be improved with a better glass to fit the volume of the coffee or just fill it to the brim.
Papaya Milkshake
Thick, creamy, and full of papaya flavour.
