Usually a bigger supporter of the white peppery version, I decided to give this Herbal KL version a shot.

The broth was sweeter than I'm used to but tasted alright and the different cuts of pork used were decent. I think I'm just an ardent fan of the peppery version 😐

We did however, really like some of the set menu items like the Hong Zhao Chicken and the Steam Egg sides.

So maybe worth a try if you're keen on giving the the herbal version of BKT a go but I'd still go for the cheaper and more satisfying classing SG version 😛
