@ah_hoe_mee_pok opened an outlet at Tanjong Katong. My expectations were running very high. As I was starving, I ordered an $8 bowl, $6 being the smallest. The meepok was little, even for a not so big eater like me. It was tough in texture and some strands had a doughy aftertaste. Chilli was mild. I enjoyed the soup with sliced pork, minced pork, a fish dumpling and a prawn. The dipping chilli was salty, good heat and tangy. I also had a cold drink, just a normal glass of honey lemon which costs $2.60, very faint taste of lemon.

Perhaps still getting used to new surroundings. I find this not very friendly on my wallet. But if you are nearby, give it a try. Maybe and perhaps maybe, I should try the original outlet to make a comparison.
