[PUNGGOL, SINGAPORE] Heard quite abit about this hokkien mee stall in Punggol and came down to try! Many of the reviews were right, while their hokkien mee is decent, their other dishes like fried rice is better.

The Signature Hokkien Mee 🦐 ($6) came quite filled with seafood ingredients, with thick starchy noodles. There was noticeable wok hei, but we felt like the noodles were lacking seafood flavours and some salt 😂 it's much better after mixing in the chilli, which provided additional heat. I think I enjoyed their pork lard the most, as it was so fresh!! Really crispy and satisfying.

Their Ah Huat Fried Rice 🍚 ($6) is even better. This is a very unique take on fried rice and they used what I believe is char siew sauce. It had the right amount of sweet and savoury flavour, with a touch of wok hei. The melty egg was very well done too! Honestly I will order this again definitely.

Can't wait to try their fried kway teow! And can I just say that the kopitiam is really unique 😂 it's like within a void deck but also not LOL
