This is my colorful vegetarian lunch. Actually I hardly eat vegetarian. I saw this young lady enjoying her vegetarian lunch and she said it was really good. So ok, it got me all curious.

Fried beehoon, a must. Complemented by cabbage, long beans, mock meat and fried black pepper beancurd. I have to say it was good and quite tasty. Not overly oily. The fried beancurd, which was my most liked, came in thin strips with a gentle crisp.

I have always avoided vegetarian foods, as in some places, it came across as too oily and gets too cloying on the palate. Surprisingly, I did enjoy my vegetarian plate.
