[CLOSED] Glacier Frozen Yogurt Cafe (Paya Lebar Square)

I recalled having yoghurt and waffles at glacier at Somerset Orchard gateway sometime back and Glad to find them at Paya Lebar Square after their Somerset outlet closed.

I couldn’t quite recall my first experience at glacier at Somerset so honestly it was the very affordable price of 5.90 that attracted me.

The chocolate yoghurt was pretty addictive with its deep chocolate flavour . The Belgian waffles were light and crisp on the outside and had a noisy centre . It lacked the buttery fragrance of most commercial waffles but I am not complaining because it is not greasy at all 😊

Service was very friendly and prompt 😊🤗
The ladies at glacier make you feel so welcomed .

Each parfait comes with a choice of 3 fruit toppings, 2 dry toppings and a sauce. Unlike Llao Llao, you can choose from a variety of yoghurt flavours and so we got Mango and Mixed Berries! Both were not too sweet which was good 👍🏼🍦

Left: Mango yoghurt with Chocolate sauce, Bananas, Cashew Nuts, Cranberry Cereal, Nata De Coco💕

Right: Mixed Berries yoghurt, honey, strawberry, Kiwi, grapes and granola 💕

A case of service > quality. Honestly mediocre yoghurt that tend towards the sweet side. However absolutely friendly service staff who were eager to help and let us try samples of the various flavors. Price wise alittle steep as compared to the ultimate frozen yoghurt champion: llaollao. Did not fancy the charged by weight concept, would very much rather a standard price and size one! Having said that I wouldn't mind giving their parfait a try when I'm in the area and craving something sweet (-:

Was adventurous to try the waffle, but it turned out limp and too doughy to my liking. The icy froyo was a saving grace, I like their best selling original froyo and lychee flavours among others which include chocolate, earl grey, mango and mixed berries.

This time round, we have also tried their matcha flavour yogurt. Personally, I am still a fan for original flavour yogurt with honey sauce 😂 📍 Glacier Frozen Yogurt Cafe
