IHOP Siam Paragon G fl.

Wanted to try out one of those cafes recommended by fellow foodies but the queue was horrifying and our legs were giving way due to the Long hours of shopping (yay!) so we decided to venture into the nearest cafe with the shortest queue. IHOP essentially serves up waffles, pancakes and French toast in different variations. The pancakes were really fragrant, though the accompanying raspberry sauce were too sweet to my liking (coming from a sweet tooth, you can imagine how sweet the sauce were). The pancake dough was perfect, soft, fluffy and won’t crumble into pieces when you slice it. 💯

Never would I have expected to have it here in Bangkok because prior to this, all that I've heard of about IHOP has been travelers who came back from USA and swore by it. Opted for the double blueberry pancakes which comes with a duo stack and a dollop of whipped cream, and blueberry compote at the top. Each table was also served with four different kind of sauces and the most obvious one has definitely got to be the old fashioned maple syrup. Overall, the pancakes from IHOP were outrageously good.

Walk quite a far bit for this & waited a while; from waiting in line to arrival of food but I must say this Strawberry Banana Pancake (195TBT) sets the benchmark for all pancakes out there! Every table comes with 4 different sauces; Strawberry, Butter Pecan, Blueberry & Old Fashioned Maple but trust me they taste very good sans any toppings or add-ons yah (serve with a side of either Vanilla or Chocolate Ice Cream)!
