Pakbet with Bagnet is new for me, with a twist of crispiness and touch of fresh veggies you will feel the yumminess of this food. Pakbet by the way is a combination different veggies (lady finger,squash,egg plant,string beans etc.) and if you will ask what is bagnet? It is boiled and deep-fried pork belly. Just like lechon kawali, what distinguishes bagnet from other fried pork dishes is the tremendously blistered skin which literally transforms the pork skin into crackling.
Unlike lechon kawali, however, which is deep fried at a very high temperature only until the skin is blistered and the meat is lightly browned, bagnet is fried longer — achieving the same blistered skin but with a well-browned, drier and crispier exterior portion of the meat. When freshly cooked, the well-browned portion of the meat is quite delightful to eat. But, after a few hours, it turns tough and leathery. (source: Connie Veneracion of Casa Veneracion)

as simple as "pag nabusog ka!,mag tsaa ka!" sabi nila para bumaba kinain mo...because of the delicious cakes, pastries, spaghetti surely you will need a tea. Let's Eat, Play and be Merry!

at first am not sure if I will like this salad, cause some restaurants they offer a boring vegetable salad...sabi nga nila konti ang laman. But to my surprise the waiter gave me a plate full of veggies, bits of fruits ( grapes,mango) bread, and chicken, and then you can ask for more sauce. A jampack in short, I recommend this salad because of the affordable price and delightful taste as well. This restaurant is located in fort area, taguig. Let's Eat, Play and be Merry!

when it comes to ensaymada no one beats Mary grace ensaymada but since am a fan of Mary Grace, one time I ordered pasta with spicy and see food style which for me a taste of hmmmm.... :) though am not a pasta enthusiasts but this one catch my attention, so if you want something new in spaghetti not always on the sweet sauce of pasta try this one...
