Was quite apprehensive while ordering it because it cost a whopping $12, but since mum wasn't too keen on trying other places after hearing about it and my friends gave it raving reviews I had to try it. Apparently it's not only just a wee bit larger than usual lava cakes, but it's pretty quality too. The cake was warm yet had a crusty exterior which was crumbly and delightful, while the matcha white chocolate lava flowed out without gell-ing up altogether. Rich green tea aroma exudes throughout the whole dessert, including the lava which was rather impressive considering it did not get overwhelmed by the white chocolate. Liked how the Japanese touch went all the way to the vanilla ice-cream, which saw Azuki served over its top.

This is Matcha Brioche ($3.20) made with Japanese wheat flour, French butter, key ingredients and pure matcha imported from Shizuoka prefecture of Japan, known for producing the finest tea.

Just a day away from their opening on 29th April at 557 Bukit Timah Road where you'll be treated to a wide selection of baked variables and all day-breakfast. Spend above $5 during the promotional period and get to enjoy their 27-layer croissant at only a dollar. Full review updated on ᴀʟᴀɪɴʟɪᴄɪᴏᴜs.ᴄᴏᴍ

From O'ma Spoon Korean Dessert Cafe outside the food court at Level 4. This is the two person portion, and comes with milk-based shaved ice with green tea powder, Azuki red beans and green tea ice-cream atop. Green Tea flavour was evident throughout and the ice was shaved till really fine so it was smooth and melt-in-the-mouth without having to bite. Recommended.

Don't be mistaken by their innocuous looks. Those chewy cubes of warabi mochi in the Miyako dessert were irritatingly addictive! 😱 Even though I arrived at St. Marc Cafe after a big dinner, I could not stop going after those damn things, one by one, till they were all gone. And this is in spite of me repeating, "Ok, seriously, this is the last one. No more. I am too full!" Apparently, the soybean powder-dusted and black honey-drizzled chewiness was simply too good for me to resist. Especially when eaten with the creamy soft serve, matcha ice-cream and azuki red bean paste 😋

The choux pastry is delightfully crumbly, like the baby girl of a croissant and cookie. However, the matcha flavour was rather faint, like pen marks after being assaulted by an eraser. 3.3/5

this is a rather interesting take on the usual green tea cake! the green tea layer is somewhat jelly-like, but not too overbearing! a lychee centre makes the whole cake really unique
