The epitome of fancy and breakfasts, thus the aptly named place. Taking fine dining to the casual scope, this place is all about the proper and grace. They have a rotating menu every week, so it's good to check up on them once in a while on their instagram at instagram.com/fancybreakfastclub!
Acme takes an eccentric twist on classic breakfast staples, leaving choices like the buckwheat pancakes served with caramelized pears. A little coarse to taste, yet the organic-y blend in the flapjacks with sweet pears leaves you in ecstasy. Placing on the higher end of the price range for breakfast munches, it's not the first place that always come to mind, but its fresh take definitely leaves a strong impact upon first timers, as well as it had on mine.
This quaint store's placed in the heart of Kuala Lumpur beside Changkat. French toast with chantilly cream and peaches that melt in your mouth, succulent sausages and aromatically sautéed mushrooms with sunny side ups, baked goods such as the dense coconut shave strawberry pound cake and mushroom quiche and of course a smooth, smooth cappucino. I think I'm pretty much sorted.
Portions above prices is the vibe I get from this place. The dim and quaint decor and the wholesome portions give a sense of completeness. Located at oasis square (Opposite Citta Mall), it is beautifully located there among many other restaurants and the feeling of satisfaction leaking off this place is immense. The big breakfast is to die for and the dense yet fluffy pancakes is sure to fill you up halfway through.
The egg-iest place to be, The Red Beanbag located within the premises of Publika placed a great sense of an incorporation of aesthetic and culinary appeal into their dishes. The aptly priced and hassle-free servings keeps the crowd coming back for more. Despite having a two-page menu, the range is not to be belittled, as the fair range of diversities meant that there is always something for everyone. The Atlantic and Bella and The Jets are highly recommended, as well as the sweet and savory Bacon Pancakes served with maple syrup.
The star of Sri Hartamas, a rising success of two fairly young entrepreneurs have led this cafe to its name today. The highly experienced baristas pull off one of the best coffees around in KL, no overstating required. Their staples are the standard Eggs Benedict and also the chicken avocado sandwich. Its sophisticated decor with surrounding glass panels letting in natural light, needless to say, it's the brightest way to start your day.
Conveniently located at the shoplots directly opposite the Sime Darby Medical Centre in Subang Jaya, their reasonable prices and standardized qualities have kept the right influx of people visiting, making a name through their pancakes, Eggs Benedict and the homey selection of cakes and pastries. If you don't have too many strings to pull in your tight wallet and you're looking for decently good servings, this is the place to be.
Possibly made known as the flagship store of breakfast foods, Antipodean at Telawi, Bangsar has maintained its place for a morning ecstatic appeal among many. With the minimalistic and cozy interior, the amazingly fresh selection of cakes and of course, the commendable dishes, it is safe to say that it has earned a permanent place within the circle of dawn-breakers.
