Sweet Cravings

Had the vanilla crème brûlée which had a crispy caramel top which wasn't too sweet. The vanilla and milk was light on the palate, making it an enjoyable dessert. The salted chocolate tart wasn't too bad either; the tart was sturdy and not crumbly, the chocolate wasn't too sweet with the salt to complement the stickiness of chocolate. The coffee cream was disappointing. It was too light and didn't bring much to the dish. I was initially attracted by the addition of Bailey but sadly, the alcohol didn't come through at all.

Pretty pricey at $14.90, but packed with flakes of rich sweet dark chocolate, which worked very well with the fragrance of bread waffles, light cream cheese and vanilla ice cream. My only qualm was the waffles which weren't crispy enough, and if I may, a little soggy.

One of my favourite ice cream parlour. Quality of ice cream is very good - rich and creamy, not icy tastes fresh. Roasted pistachio is heavenly - it's nutty and fragrant. Waffles are still crispy though they seem to have tweaked it such that it has more of the egg and bread taste. The place I go when I have waffles and ice cream craving!

Crepe brûlée was a bit heavy on the eggs, the vanilla wasn't really discernible though there are specks of vanilla beans in it. Wasn't sweet at all, all down to preference I think, but I would have liked mine to be sweeter. Waffles were as good as before, if only a little too airy. I like the texture of gelato here, standout flavours are moscato, hazelnut coffee and toasted pistachio!

Had the camp symmetry, which had a smooth white chocolate pudding base with truffle infused cookie crumbs on top. Really good. The buttery tart, fragrant on it's own, with the sweetness of the chocolate... Exquisite! Also had the pecan pie which had a nutty toffee like base which I liked too! Would love to try more of their flavours! The mocha wasn't too nice, a bit bitter and lacked the aroma of coffee. Iced chocolate drink was alright, not too milky nor powdery.

Small shop that can seat a maximum of 10 people selling whoopie pies! This version is really two layers of dense sponge cake with cream on top and between the cake. While I didn't shout 'whoopie!' after my first bite, it's still pretty good. The cake wasn't dry though a tad stale. It really gives cupcakes a run for their money. The cookies and cream was rather plain. I liked the red velvet more but it could have a stronger chocolate taste. $4.90 with a scoop of ice cream!
