Never mind that I couldn't quite taste the infusion of miso in the salmon as promised by the menu, this is still hands down one of the best salmon fillet I've ever had. Skillfully done, the meat was tender and moist, and tasted wonderful especially when eaten along with the vegetables and mushrooms ragout. Oh and I nearly forgot about the other co-star in this dish: the lobster claw, which would have been great too if not for its mildly rubbery skin.

Initially the sauce seemed too sweet, but a while later the spiciness kicked in and i couldn't stop mopping it up with the mantous. I do feel that chilli gravies will always be a better match with crabs than lobsters though!

I was once told by someone that if I were to have only ONE lobster roll in my life, it would best be from Pince&Pints. Indeed, the lobster chunks were fresh, sweet and plentiful, and the buns were deliciously buttery and soft. I also loved the refreshing side salad and the thick-cut fries that went so sinfully well with the garlic aioli!

A decent starter to our lunch today. Served with a savory, flaky danish-style breadstick that went so well with the bisque. If I'm not wrong, it's available only during this festive season.

For some reason I can't help comparing this to the baked cod which I had at Spuds&Aprons a few months back, which IMO the latter wins hands down. Although the texture of this Chilean seabass was melt-in-the-mouth faultless and the addition of edamame beans and sweet wolfberries lovely, I felt the dashi cream sauce was overwhelmingly rich and too salty for my liking. A pity 'cos otherwise it would have been an outstanding dish!

Kind of regretted ordering this because i) the soup tasted a little bit fishy, ii) the crab meat wantons were bland, and iii) the fried lotus chips tasted of rancid oil. Thank goodness the lobster chunks were very fresh and sweet, though I did find them to be a little bit tough.

It was quite a challenge trying to extract the flesh from the pincer of this half-lobster, but thankfully it tasted really, really sweet. The lobster roe emulsion that the linguine is cooked in is quite unique. It tasted a little odd initially, but give it a few more mouthfuls and it will grow on you.

Ordered this king crab legs and shrimps combo with the Fully Loaded sauce at medium spiciness. The sauce is quite delicious, though very oily and can be very salty if you dip too much of it onto your food. It was a pity too that the crab legs were not fresh enough and had a rubbery texture. (Maybe I was just unlucky?) Think I shall just stick to The Cajun Kings in future.
