Thank you @burpple for feeding us last night with a very shiok sambal balachan fish (and special mentions to the crispy tofu and haezor) 🤗

Took a break from the plant diet to indulge in steak 🙃 Served medium-rare, this steak had a crust, whilst still being incredibly juicy on the inside. The free flow of duck-fat fried fries didn't hurt one bit!!
Been wanting to come here for awhile after reading the reviews but was left somewhat disappointed.
Still prefer Omakase over to this (the juicy, flavourful burger patty just can’t be beat)
The burgers here are slightly different. Relying on the accompanying ingredients to make the burger yummy.
Tried the baller burger & the B supreme.
Preferred the baller burger, it did taste “umami” and at $10.90, decently affordablez
Thought the B supreme was very normal, but my partner liked it so...
Still cheaper than Omakase, but I would fork out a couple dollars more for that when the burger craving strikes.
Ordered an Arnold Palmer (lemonade + ice tea) but it just turned out tasting like sour lemon tea. 😝😒
toro aburi + Salmon aburi
Both bowls were awesome. But I preferred the aburi minced tuna give in both bowls best. Still prefer the aburi salmon at Itacho over the one here. But the minced aburi toro was to die for.
Ordered sides of otoro, chotoro and salmon. Will skip these next time, not worth it. Would rather order an additional bowl instead. Or if I do order it, will def request for it to be aburi-ed. Realised I don’t particularly like tuna sashimi.
Salmon and toro aburi meshi don $24.80
Toro aburi meshi don $32.80
Added chotoro $9, otoro $18 and salmon $6 toppings
Worked out to be about $40-45/pax
LOVED the aburi minced toro - that was my favourite part of both dishes. It was sooooo creamy and delicious. Even more so than the toro in my dish. Reminded me of the don I had in niseko!
Aburi salmon and toro (non minced) was good too.
Probably wouldn’t pay to top up for the toppings next time and get another bowl instead. Maybe try the Wagyu aburi meshi? Or I would at least rather opt to have the toppings flambed as well. Realised i prefer that to the raw version. Especially for maguro.
Would I return? Yupp!!
Simple, decently affordable and yummy
I like the salmon belly, truffle and cod caviar best. Pass on the cod liver, cheese and ikura versions.
I usually spend around $30-45/pax
Coming from France I can say that this is a Bakery i will come back very soon.
They have a large choice of viennoiseries, and they are very similar from what we can find in Good bakeries in France. I tasted the Kouign aman, the puff pastry was perfect: smells good butter and crispy.
Perfect place for a tea time or a quick lunch. They have very good sandwiches made with different type of bread.
The price is correct.
Halfway to the weekend... (cupcakes make it easier) 😝 •

$38.80 awesome value at les bouchons.
The photo cannot justify the taste! It is one of the rare moments that real life is so much better than online. The beef patty was grilled perfectly and the veggies was fresh and crunchy! Their cheese fries was normal but the portion was big. Their burgers are in the costly side, but still worth trying at least once! The shop was quite empty during dinner time as it is quite inaccesible, so the air-con was too strong with the amount of ppl in there.
