Gathering In The West

Honey Grilled Chicken and Aburi Vongole. Just round the corner is The Usual Place, a café in Jurong East! Some detail in ambience was created as the background music goes, "and I'll see you again~" (Whiz Khalifa). Perhaps the ambience is localised as an auntie, speaking in colloquial mandarin, takes my order behind the counter. It was enjoyable, both sets were $8.90, relatively cheaper than other cafés. I was there for a catch up with a friend, and perhaps it will become a place for many Jurong-stayers to come and meet at this Usual Place. If you are looking for taste of food, perhaps I would say you get what you pay. Not bad overall! At least 3 stars, plus another half star for being a local (hahaha).
