I Eat Dessert For Breakfast 24/7

Fluffy french toast cubes served together with whipped cream, vanilla bean ice cream and white wine honey syrup. Don't expect the eggy, heavy, charred and crazily indulgent french toast here. These were light and fluffy, (like crazily fluffy) with a slightly grainy texture from their special flour mix which consists of 8 different grains. Although I loved the french toast, I thought the ice cream was too cloyingly sweet and it melted so so so fast. I did like the fact that it was studded with vanilla beans tho, the flavour was much more pronounced and the ice cream itself has potential to be much better if it was tweaked slightly. Instead of maple syrup, you will be given honey! 🍯 This helped to elevate the french toast, without being cloying. Most of the components were on the lighter side, like most Japanese food, which I really did enjoy. Despite the reviews that said the service here is bad, my experience is exactly the opposite. The service here was incredibly friendly, from both the lady that served me my food and the Uncle whom kept refilling my water for me.

I just had had had to post this because the namecard is just so cute (like it's cuter than the emoji, how is it even possible?!) This has got to be the cutest namecard in the history of all namecards.

All I can say is 'COME INTO MY BELLY' because this was so fluffy and it crumbles so beautifully, I was literally over the moon eating this! One of the best Hotcake textures out of all the Hotcakes I've tried so far. I love the vanilla bean ice cream, but I felt like this hotcake lacked dimension in terms of flavour! They could have amped it up with more interesting toppings etc, but since the price is relatively cheaper than other places, and the main focus (which is the Hotcake itself) is on-point I have no complaints 👍🏻

hahaha I was telling my friend that since it's made of buckwheat it means we're eating healthy am I right?? /insert wink emojis/ this is one of the smaller pancakes in comparison to the rest I've tried - and the pancake itself isn't sweet, you add the maple syrup and it makes it sweet! So you know how much maple syrup I drenched on my pancake afterwards ☺️ This one had the texture of a muffin! (kinda like a blueberry muffin) since it wasn't crispy outside just fluffy all the way through!

Finally a cafe that caramelises their bananas well! I liked how this banana bread wasn't too dense, a lot more fluffier and airy than most banana breads, which paired well with their tangy sour yogurt. So happy I made the trip here after hearing Burppler @veronicaphua rave about this 🍌.

Perhaps the most beautiful hotcake I have come across thus far! This was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside (although it wasn't moist) the texture resembled somewhat of a cookie from how easily it fell apart, but for a sweet tooth like me - I could easily polish the plate. I have to admit I prefer Hotcakes that have a moist texture on the inside so I wasn't the most impressed with this. Wish there were more berries and Yuzu gel tho! Whatever was in the bottle (tasted like yogurt foam) was seriously bomb, but it was quite hard to get out of the bottle, I literally had to stick my knife in to get it out :'>

Cutting into this, chocolate just spilled everywhere for me, as I bit into pieces of chocolate coated toast. Sadly, my when my friend cut into the toast, nothing oozed out :') shows a relative uneven distribution of the chocolate in the toast maybe? Not the most delicious toast out there, but still fun to try and pretty to look at! Lovely ambience here, since the hype has died down quite a bit.

Wanted to order the regular skillet pancake, but they wouldn't let me change the cream cheese to something else, and since I was lactose intolerant I was put on the spot and had to make another decision. Ended up ordering this, and I felt I would have enjoyed the normal one more. But it probably won't be something I crave?

Back for this yummy pile of goodness 🤗 Still prefer earl grey lavender or pistachio tho!

I hate to admit this, but after eating Mochi waffles, my love for regular waffles has been greatly altered. I cannot appreciate them as much because I can only crave Mochi waffles. I do have to say they do make a pretty good waffle tho, crisp on the outside yet somewhat fluffier in the middle. But the soft serve - pretty to look at and lovely to eat.

3 thick slices of Brioche French Toast was sadly a huge disappointment. Absolutely decadent looking with the oozy caramel and melting vanilla bean ice cream, but looks aside, it didn't tingle my tastebuds. Firstly, when it was served to me the bread was not warm, it was room-temperature at the very most (the ice cream took much longer to melt - either that or the air-conditioning was blasting too cold). Secondly, I could find nothing special about this French Toast, with its bland taste and slightly soggy exterior - unlike most French toasts which maintain crisp while the insides are airy and eggy. The French Toast wasn't entirely soaked through, leaving me to eat entire pieces of just plain brioche toast. Each bite was absolute pain, the only saving grace being the fresh berries and ice cream. Would not order this again, but nevertheless, still love their pastries though.

Crispy exterior yet maintaining an extremely light and fluffy interior of chewy goodness! Crunchy cornflakes added to the exterior texture, and with lip-smacking melting ice cream, what more can you ask for? Would gobble this up in a heartbeat. ❤️ You would have to wait 20+ mins for preparation, but trust me - it's so worth it! Great for sharing with friends over a hot cuppa too :-)
