Pancakes and Hotcakes and Cakes and FLOUR

alright this tasted more like a bland omelette I guess I'm just not a fan of Dutch pancakes but fortunately the generous (and delicious) toppings made up for it! duck was really tender and the fruits added a nice citrusy touch to the otherwise really really really bland dish :-) this leaves you feeling really light bc it doesn't have much oil hehe healthy? maybe

couldn't decide between the keylime and the lemon meringue and in the end we chose keylime because we didn't want something too sweet. I really love the strong citrusy sour-y taste to this pie but I still thought it was slightly too sweet. The flavours came on a little too strong so downing one whole pie by yourself may get abit gelat.

So I thought atlas was going to be another one of those overrated cafes but NOPE sure it was very crowded which kindda ruined the ambiance a little BUT the food was so so so SO good this is climbing up my fav list!!!! This hugantic pancake was not gelat at all and the butterscotch flavor was so strong it was absolutely delicious. It had the crunchy edge and the pillowy centre like a good pancake would AND THE MOST DELICIOUS CORNFLAKE BITS ever! really worth the wait and the price :-)!! the only downside is that the proportion could be improved as I had a huge chunk of pancake left after that! (or maybe I just gobbled up the delicious honey coated cornflakes too quickly) I would say this is better than the hotcakes that everyone has been having!!!!

Average tasting cakes but would get them anyway hehe I love chilling at hangar because they serve a great cuppa and this place has super friendly baristas!! One of them came up with some milk and honey concoction and offered to let me have a sip!!

Honestly not a fan of red velvet and cream cheese but decided to give this a try anyway and it wasn't anything amazing : ( I have to admit the mascarpone was quite yummy but the $16 pancakes got gelat after a while : /

Carrot cakes never appealed to me because I don't like cream cheese but daaaaamn artistry's carrot cake was so good I would eat this any day!!! for someone who often finds things overly sweet this was perfect and it was loaded with crunchy chunks of nuts!! :- )

very Singaporean and very creative indeed!! it got all the flavors right - extremely fragrant pancake stack topped with vanilla ice cream and drenched in gula melaka sauce!!! if you don't have an EXTREME sweet tooth and don't like the caramel-y taste then DONT get this!!! it is very sweet but if you're feeling adventurous then it is definitely worth a try!!!! sadly the vanilla ice cream was icy zz tolido pls invest in better ice cream

Surprisingly good cakes in a rather packed cafe! Always have problems with cakes being too sweet but the ones at Penny U are super fluffy and great for snack time hehe

Joining the hotcakes hype, Curious Palette's $18.90 version has a generous serving of fruits and taro flavored thingums. Hotcake was slightly too dense but still had a good crunch around the edges! It got abit gelat after a while so sharing among 3 would be good. The chai latte is one of the best I've had!!!!!
