Indian Food!!

Located in the depths of Bangsar, Ganga cafe offers a wide range of Indian vegetarian food, from naans, chapati and roti, to traditional Indian street food such as Pav Bhaji and Indian sweets like Halwa and Lassi. However, this hidden gem is better known by the locals around the area for their Sunday brunch buffet!! Starting at RM25, the restaurant offers a wide range of food in their buffet, such as several different types of curries, chapatis, rice, salad, masala chai, pakora and a lot more!! Be sure to come early if you wanna beat the morning Sunday crowd and do ask the lady boss for what's good for the day if you plan on visiting them any other day of the week!!

I'm a huge fan of Indian cuisine, regardless whether it's North or south Indian. During my time in Saravanaa Bhavan, I had the banana leaf set and masala dosa. Though it may not be the best banana I've had, I personally think Saravanaa Bhavan's banana leaf is worth trying if you wanna try something other than your usual Nirvana Maju in Bangsar. The vegetarian curries were great, but maybe just a tad to spicy for me. The rasem on the other hand had a nice balance of flavours from the spices and sourness. As for the other condiments, they compliment and go really well with the curry and rice. The masala dosa on the other hand was just right for me. Crispy, slightly sourish and the spiced potatoes in the middle was amazing. I personally think the chutney best compliments the masala dosa
