Bak Kut Teh to start the day. Doing nails now so just chilling and uploading pictures. Feels like the whole of Singapore's in JB today. Anyways, this isn't the best Bak Kut Teh I've had here, but it was still better than the ones I've had in Singapore. They were generous with the you tiao, but it wasn't crunchy enough for my liking. The soup was not too peppery (which I loved) was super porky and tasty. I think it was helped by the heaping amount of pork innards 😪
The great thing about Malaysian Bak Kut Teh is how generous they are with all the liao. Four of us had a bowl of rice each, a cold glass of tea and this amazing spread that came up to only RM139 ($49). That's $12 each! And it's already considered expensive.
By the way, Soon Heng BKT is a street side store, but the owners charge GST and drive big-assed BMWs okay. Rolling in RM.

Food maketh me write good.
