Have been curious how the Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee tasted, especially since it carries quite a pricey tag (for a cuppa joe). Did a compare & contrast today and ordered 2 Flat Whites - one using their signature blend and the other the blue mountain. It IS (Blue Mountain) good - smooth, strong. Will I pay that much again for a cup? No, not really. I can get an equally good coffee at Costa for a cheaper price (even with the OPS upgrade). Their signature blend is not bad. I especially liked the mocha. I will most likely be back for that one.
The ambience of the cafe is nice. The service could use a little improvement though (smile a little bit more, maybe?😊) They also have an extensive menu (pasta, all day breakfast, etc.). Might be worth a try next time. .

I think I OD'ed on coffee today 😳😅 In less than 30 minutes from our Jamaican Blue Mountain taste test (previous post), here we are at Boyle's. Their stall was always closed whenever we pass by, but today we finally got to try their cold brew. It was goooooood! I liked the Dutch Caramel Latte very much! If you want to get an idea on how strong the coffee is, sip it from the top before stirring. 😁 But to thoroughly enjoy it, give it a good stir. They will instruct you to do that too. The Nitro Vanilla Latte was also good. 👍🏻

Stumbled upon this cafe while looking for a place to eat. Tried the “weekend and PH only” desserts by Chef Yamashita. Our first choice - the chocolate cake - was sold out for the day (they’re sold in limited numbers only) so we settled for [1] Mt. Fuji - Japanese chestnut cream with chocolate sponge. [2] Iced coffee float [3] Cheese Toast (because the Pizza toast was also sold out 🤨). .

Still the same cafe from the previous post @watanabecoffee . 👍🏻 And did I mention that the ambience is nice? Cozy and well-thought of interior design. It was jam-packed (to be expected on a weekend) but people were willing to wait for a table. They put a maximum stay of 1.5 hours on peak periods, but I am not certain if it’s being implemented (how do you shoo people away, anyway?)

I like that the smoked salmon is not out-of-the-fridge cold. The rosti had the perfect crisp, it wasn’t raw and mushy on the inside and not greasy at all. Yumyum! .
