Cibiuk offers a variety of authentic Javanese sambals with steamed vegetables as appetisers, my favourite being the sambal tempeh. πΆ Be prepared to be sniffling!

I have a high tolerance for spicy food and this made me sniffle, which is great! Their menu is completely in bahasa indonesia (which is very similar to bm, no worries) with images if you're confused.
We tried their version of tauhu sumbat (stuffed tofu with corn, chilli, prawns, chicken meat, black ear fungus etc. for RM14.80) and it was awesome, even the coating batter was nice.
They serve two versions of tempeh, one coated with batter and one not. We ordered the coated version (RM6.80) and let me assure you that even if you don't like tempeh or fried food, you'll love this. If you love cucur udang, then I'm gonna cupid you to order this.
For the main course, we got Nasi Liwet Komplit Ayam Bakar (RM18.80). The price differs with which part of the chicken you order. Nasi liwet is their version of nasi minyak, my favorite part is that it comes wrapped in plenty of banana leaves, with lots of shallots.
The sambal shown is made from mainly chillies and tomatoes, which is also tops my list. I love how generous they with the ingredients to prepare the most authentic dishes and the best experience. Best of all, the prices are affordable and so worth the preparation effort, about RM15 per person! I'd definitely be back to tongue torture my non-spice friendly friends and family with amazing Javanese cuisine. ππ²πΆπ₯
