For something cool to combat the heat and humidity, go for the sundaes. The Berry Magic contains strawberry ice cream, jam, fresh strawberries, biscuit rolls and biscuit crumbs. It’s a refreshing concoction that revitalizes the palate with the sweet milkiness of the strawberry ice cream, the tanginess of the jam, the sour fruitiness of the fresh strawberries and the buttery crunch of the biscuit rolls and crumbs.
Honey-comb fluffy perfection. Citrus By The Pool’s waffles will definitely delight anyone even after they have stuffed themselves silly on the gargantuan food portions. The waffle comes in three variations; Original, Belgian Chocolate and Red Velvet, drizzled with chocolate and maple syrup, with a scoop of ice cream (available in a vast array of flavors). We went for the Red Velvet with Vanilla Ice Cream, and the Original with Tutti Frutti Ice Cream. The Red Velvet is thick, dense and chocolaty, yet still fluffy and light, where as the Original has a simple and milder taste of milk. We could not stop attacking the deliciously velvety and rich Red Velvet waffle.
You may opt for Beef + Mutton patties or deep fried chicken chunks for these petite burgers that come sandwiched with crispy fried onions, sliced tomato, lettuce, mini toasted sesame bun. You also have the choice of teriyaki or BBQ sauce. We went for the crispy chicken with teriyaki sauce and it was phenomenal. The chicken chunks were crisp and succulent which perfectly paired with the sweet, smoky and slightly astringent teriyaki. These sliders are definitely a lot easier and neater to eat as compared to their giant burgers
A massive fillet of dory is battered in buttermilk and deep fried to ultimate golden-brown perfection before it is teamed up with crispy fried onions, sliced tomato, crisp lettuce, and tartar sauce all encased within two toasted sesame buns. Despite leaving this burger towards the end of the tasting, the deep-fried dory was still extremely crunchy and savory on its exterior, where as the flesh inside was incredibly buttery and melt-in-the-mouth. The tartar sauce gave a tangy creaminess to the burger and the fried onions provided a deeper crunch.
You will crow with happiness after chomping down on this decadent chicken burger. I have never been a fan of chicken burgers and always thought that burgers should just be made with beef patties, but I was pleasantly surprised that I was proven dead wrong with the Shiok Burger. The chicken patty is crispy on the outside but tender and bursting with juices as you sink your teeth down into it. Besides the explosion of savory chicken juices, there will be an eruption in the combined flavors of the fruity tomato slices, crisp lettuce, gooey sunny side up egg, and the spicy chilli crab sauce layered between two toasted sesame seed buns.
This colossal Chef's specialty burger is just the ticket to chasing away hunger pangs derived after an exhausting swim or work out session at the nearby gym and stadium. A patty comprising of a mixture of beef and mutton (BM) is stacked in a tower of crispy fried onions, juicy sliced tomato, refreshing cucumber slices, crisp lettuce, purple cabbage slaw, and doused in a nutty and flavorful satay sauce, sandwiched between two toasted charcoal buns. The overall result is a multi-dimensional kaleidoscope of flavors and textures that will tantalize your palate as you completely annihilate this monster burger.Â
