Had the classic waffle with cold brew coffee & tie Huang Yin.
I really like the strong coffee that can keep one awake
First time trying Thai Bingsu ($19.80++) and like the idea of removing the side cover to let all the filling flow out.
However, I find that the yoghurt can be kind of jialet and the Thai milk too sweet for my liking
Came here to try their gelato ice cream double scope ($9) and got their strawberry, lychee, salted hojicha & pistachio (+1) flavour
Among all, salted hojicha is my favourite
Went to the Taste Orchard outlet and have plenty of seats not just for this eatery, but other eatery around the area.
The mochi is really soft and flavourful. Peanut powder was bit too generous for me but good for those who like peanut.
Overall, I think is good and would come and try their mochi
Had the blueberry shortcake, yuzu raspberry & uji matcha cheesecake
The blueberry shortcake & yuzu raspberry is normal but the uji matcha cheesecake is the highlight. Matcha taste is strong and the cake itself is crunchy
They had multiple dark chocolate with different richess.
Ordered their 88% dark chocolate (+1) & Japanese Matcha to level up the richess.
Dark chocolate was really rich in flavour & matcha balance it out.
I like that the server pay attention to detail such as when I am looking for tissue and looking for cups.
Overall, I like the environment and the service.
Had the Earl Grey Milk Tea Fatcaron and Pistacho Dirty Latte.
The Earl Grey Milk Tea Fatcaron was good as it is not sweet like usual macron that is available in the market. The Earl Grey is strong in taste for people that like strong flavour.
Pistacho drink wise, is too nutty for me and viscous. I would expect it to have a more smooth texture for a drink.
Had a raspberry cake, lemon tart & hojicha cake.
Raspberry cake was too sweet for my liking, lemon tart was not sour and I like the crust.
Hojicha cake is the best for me as it has a strong tea taste and cake is moist
Went to Luna again after some time and got their classic Luna 2.0 ($9) and got Blossom ($9).
The Blossom is like a standard lychee cream which is alright but not wow enough.
However, the Luna 2.0 is their OG and I like the richness of the chocolate and the cruchiness hazelnut
Was craving for Japanese souffle pancake and we went Flipper's for it. Got the original set at $16.80++ and like everything that comes with it
Had the waffle with 3 for price of 2 ice cream scoop ($18).
Love the fluffness of the waffle and the gelato
Had the chendol ($4) & purple rice ice cream ($5.50) at a town area.
I would say for the location and atmosphere, price is reasonable and quality is not bad.
Would not mind to try again if I am in bugis area
