Affordable Vegetarian Food

$3.80 for this generous portion! And they give you a free bowl of soup too 😊

They have two sizes - $15 (1-2 pax) and $30 (2-3 pax). The $15 portion was more than enough for 2 of us though. Other dishes are affordable too (mostly $5-ish or $6-ish). Came on a weekday night and it was really empty - good for those who wanna avoid crowds!

Legit quality considering it's a food court stall. The u-mian sauce had an amazing flavour, and they were super generous with the 'liao' in the soup, especially the veg. They also added some crispy mock ikan bilis to the noodles, which was a nice touch to the entire dish. Prices range from $5.50-6.50, which is a little expensive for a food court... but then again the quality is super good for a food court too!

The rice was fragrant and the monkeyhead mushroom had a palatable soft texture. Most of the single-portion dishes range around $5.00-7.50 which is affordable for an air-conditioned vegetarian cafe. The staff were very polite and attentive, and the overall ambience was peaceful because of the spaciousness and lack of crowds. Just a few stops down from Clementi MRT or Jurong East MRT. Cheap and good - I think they deserve more business!

Gong Bao Monkey Head Mushroom with Rice and fried egg [$7.50]. I loved the texture of the monkey head mushroom - the softness and firmness had just the right balance, though the gong bao flavour was a little salty. The portion was very generous and worth the price. Most of the main/single-portion dishes are priced between $4.50-$5.50. There are also Zi Char dishes for sharing. This place is great for vegetarians looking for affordable food!

Lion Mane Curry Baked Rice for $10.90. The lion mane "meat" had a great texture and the rice had a really nice flavour too. It was overall a very satisfying meal and the portions were generous. The mains range from $8.90 to $10.90 and include rice bowls, ramen and pasta. There are many vegan options for those who don't take egg/dairy. The place was very empty which was surprising considering how good the food was. The service staff were friendly and considerate as well.
